This website is going to guide you to utilize your timeshare to explore the world.
My husband and I went to our first “timeshare talk” 42 years ago while on our honeymoon in Hawaii. (We went for the free stuff). We did not sign on the dotted line. However, I was intrigued by the concept of timeshare vacationing. We went on several more vacation presentations of timeshare properties over the years, and purchased our first timeshare at an off-site corporate presentation for a week in Hawaii and joined RCI more than 20 years ago. We have since purchased four more units in Lake Tahoe from a resale real estate agency. We own both points and weeks resorts and are members of both RCI and Interval International for our exchanges. (It is not necessary to join both exchange companies, however, I utilize both because we have five timeshares and each company has different positives and negatives, which I will discuss in a later post.) Timeshare companies offer a variety of use type, so make sure to know if you have a fixed week (same week each year), floating week (and if the floating week is designated to a season), if you own a deeded week, or if are in a point system.
