There are timeshare available near the beach with ocean views both in Carlsbad and Oceanside. Read the reviews and descriptions of the properties to know if the choices are ocean view or on the ocean.

Carlsbad, California has multiple timeshare options and is a perfect city for a beach vacation. Oceanside is a neighboring city with several timeshare options as well.
The weather in southern California is mild year- round.
Our last visit to Carlsbad was for Thanksgiving week, visiting with children and grandchildren. The Grand Pacific Palisades (next to Legoland) was a perfect choice. The grandchildren enjoyed the famly pool with water park and the daily craft activities.
Carlsbad has a beautiful beach as does neighboring city Oceanside. When beaching with children, I prefer Oceanside beach for its beach playground, restrooms, pier and food options.
Oceanside and Carlsbad have vibrant downtowns with a variety of food options. Make sure to have an ice cream at the pier in Oceanside or a gelato at GelatoLove in the Carlsbad Village.
Worth the visit:
The Sand Diego Zoo Safari Park is an easy 40-minute drive inland. The San Diego Zoo is about the same distance south. The Safari Park gives guests an opportunity to see animals roaming. The San Diego Zoo is world famous and huge with many animals.
Legoland is in Carlsbad.
Southern California is an amazing timeshare trade. We usually book there a year in advance.
