Traveling to French Polynesia with an Exchange
The best value exchange with my timeshare I’ve experienced was to Tahiti (French Polynesia). Tahiti is usually a very expensive destination. However, as an RCI exchange member, you can use your deposited credits to exchange for an all inclusive adventure on a catamaran around several islands in Tahiti.
Trade-Winds is a company which has destinations around the globe for travel for all. But, RCI members are allowed once every four years to utilize trading power to exchange for this amazing experience. An all inclusive fee will be charged by Trade-winds, but it will be excessively less than paying full fare for this vacation. Travelers will have access to snorkeling everyday along with several shore excursions all included. All alcohol is also included. Each cabin includes a bathroom. The catamaran’s capacity varies from 8-10 guests along with a captain and a chef. The gourmet meals are restaurant quality! Search RCI exchanges for Trade-Winds and the availability for all destinations and dates will be displayed.
Tahiti can be reached easily from the west coast of the United States. French is the official language, but English is spoken everywhere there are tourists. The catamaran in Tahiti leaves from the island of Raiatea. This is a short flight from Papeete in Tahiti. Tahiti is much like Hawaiian (state Hawaii, made up of different islands). Tahiti, the country is made up of islands. The largest island is Tahiti.
The water in Tahiti must be seen with your eyes. Pictures are beautiful, but the in-person experience is one for the memory bank!

The water is warm for swimming and from the catamaran, you can swim everyday.
The captain will anchor the boat and declare “the pool is open!”
Trade-winds can give you suggestions of where to stay prior to your catamaran cruise. If you love the ocean and being on the water, this exchange cannot be missed!
Happy Travels!
