Glacier National Park
I love visiting national parks in the United States. When planning a trip to a national park, I use (RCI and Interval International) to investigate if there are timeshares within a short driving distance to the national park.
Tip: Look at a map of the state where the national park is located and see the cities surrounding the area. For example, Glacier National Park is in the north western corner of Montana. Search “Montana” in the “search for your next vacation” bar at the top of the website. Note the cities where the timeshares are located and reference the map to see which cities are close to the park. Read the reviews from guests to see if they mention visiting Glacier National Park. Find timeshares available in Whitefish and Columbia Falls, Montana. Read Columbia Falls is a 20 minute drive to Glacier and Whitefish, a town with a ski resort, and read guest reviews “an easy and pretty drive over to Glacier National Park.”
Summer is a popular time to visit Montana so it would be worth putting in an ongoing search for this destination if you want to go into the summer. Call and use an exchange company vacation agent to help you put in an ongoing search or do it yourself online.
Important to know that the famous “Going to the Sun” road is opened after the snow melts in the spring (time varies with the season) and closes for the season in October when the weather changes.
There is usually a lot of availability in off-season timeshare properties. Sometimes the off-season is a great time to visit. However, in the case of Glacier National Park, all amenities are closed during the off-season. Visitors are allowed to drive through the park and take hikes. When deciding to visit an area in the off-season, do your research and look at the weather. Decide if the trip would still be fun for you.
